First of all in our clubrooms we go through the fundamentals of knot tying as part of learning to rig up our fishing rods

and then its outside to learn the art of pumping yabbies for bait

dads get in on the fun too

then down to the beach and cast away - just look at the style

good instructors or just a natural born

everyone has got a line in the water and now we wait to see what happens

it didn't take long to be rewarded

more get in on the act

just look at that smile

these kids are good at this

these kids earned their certificate and were a pleasure to work with, a number of them came back the following day to do more fishing

Our Club had worked together with Ian Whiteside of Fishcare Victoria and Baxter Primary Principal Nick Schneider to put the clinic together over several weeks. A few days before the clinic, the forecast showed the weather was against us we came up with a new plan. The Sentinel Times joined in on the day to cover our adventure.
