The South Gippsland Concert Band is a diverse group in both age and experience. We welcome every musician no matter what your age or experience. The only criterion required to join us is a love of making music.

The band was formed in the early 1970s with the aim of bringing together musicians who had left school, school students who needed more opportunities to play and older players who needed an outlet for their skills.

We were originally known as Leongatha Concert Band, later as South Gippsland Wind Orchestra and now as South Gippsland Concert Band.

Our repertoire consists of Classics, Musical Theatre, Marches, Standards and the best new modern works.

Currently rehearsals are held on Mondays from 7:00pm till 9:00pm at the Anglican Parish Hall, 5 Bridge St. Korumburra.
